USSSA Post Primaries: Kayunga Representatives, St Ponsiano Ngondwe Already In Arua

St Pontiano Ngondwe Secondary School, Kangulumira safely arrived in Arua a head of the 2022 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association National Post Primaries games.

The Kangulumira based School secured qualification after defeating Kasawo Secondary School in penalty shootouts in the 3rd place play offs of Greater Mukono Region.

Other Schools which qualified to represent the region are; Mukono Kings High School who are the region champions and finalist, Kayunga Light College.

“The journey has been tiresome but the good thing is that, we have come in time and this will help the team to have enough recovering time and also get used to the weather which is different from ours in the central region”. Stated Michael Kabali, the head coach of the School.

St Pontiano was pitted in group G alongside Jinja Progressive Academy (Busoga Region Finalist), Teso College Aloet (Teso Region Champions), St Jude Secondary School (Greater Masaka Region Champions), Mbale Progressive, Uganda Martyrs Secondary School and Late comer 10.

The 2022 USSSA National Post Primaries will kick off on Monday 18th with arrival of Schools before action at the field of play kick off the following day at Mvara Secondary School in Arua.
