
Express Rally From Behind To Share Spoils With Gaddafi
Express Football Club came from behind to earn a point away as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Gaddafi FC at Gaddafi Barracks Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Paul Musamali gave the Soldiers Boys an early lead from a free kick but Charles Musiige leveled matters for the Red Eagles at the stroke of the stoppage as both sides settled for a share of spoils in their StarTimes Uganda Premier League Matchday 20 encounter.
The hosts exerted pressure on Express defence from the first whistle and got the opener through Musamali Paul’s free-kick for a 1-0 lead just 15 minutes from the clock.
Umar Kyeyune failed to double the lead for Gaddafi FC after missing to a convert a spot kick just 5 minutes to the break when Murushid Juuko fouled Richard Basangwa inside the box.
The score was 1-0 in favor of Gaddafi FC at the interval.

After the break, Isaac Isinde could have added the second for Gaddafi but his effort went wide in the 60th minute.
10 minutes to the stoppage time Express FC leveled matters through Charles Musiige who headed home Joseph Akandwanaho’s delivery as both sides settled for a 1-1 draw at the final whistle.
The draw means Gaddafi FC remained in the 8th place of the log with 26 points after 20 games. Express Fc meanwhile are in the 6th place of the log with 31 points from 20 games.
