
Hannington Sebwalunyo: Talismanic Goalie Inks Farewell To Maroons Fc.
Custodian Hannington Sebwalunyo will not play for Maroons Football Club next season in the FUFA Big League tournament as he has officially confirmed the Club’s departure after one season.
Hannington today took to his Facebook account to Ink a farewell to the Club, his teammates and the fans at large.
Today I say goodbye to the magnificent club as it’s Maroons Football Club (Uganda Prisons). Sebwalunyo Hannington wrote on a Facebook account. “I thank the club for helping me because a better and for making me feel at home during my stay at the club. A year back, Maroons gave me an amazing opportunity to play for them and archived want we archived. After this I can only say thank you to the club coaching staff, the fans that supported me since the day I wore club’s jersey and of course thank you and good luck to my teammates who helped me settle in since day one not only as teammates but as friends.” Today I say goody to Maroons but I take with me many memories, lessons and great moments that I will like with me forever.” He added. At last I wish Maroons FC success for the future and the club for giving me the opportunity to push on my career. ”
He previously played for Bildcon Uganda Limited Football Club ( Bul Fc ), Ndejje University and Makerere University in 2013 where he won the Inter-University games with Makerere.
He also featured for Masaza Cup team Singo in 2013.
DribblerSports.com understands that Ssebwalunyo who registered 4 clean sheets in 20 games last season for Maroons is likely to join URA FC to replace James Alitho who moved to Zambia in January this year.
