
Calvary FC Return To Winning Ways To Move Third
West Nile based FUFA Big League entity Calvary Football Club returned to their winning ways after beating 10-Man Jinja North United FC 2-0 in the FUFA Big League encounter played at Midigo Primary School play ground on Sunday evening.
Agotre Christopher and Dickson Okwir scored in either half of the clash to hand the Horizon stars their third win this campaign.
Jinja North United FC completed the 25 minutes without their coaches as Sadiq Ssempigi and his assistant received their respective marching orders for all violent act on the referee.
Salim Huuds was also send off in the extra minutes as Jinja North United completed the game with 10 man inside the pitch.
Calvary FC started the better side and got the opener through Agotre Christopher with a powerful strike from 18 yards in the 31 minutes.
The score was 1-0 in favor of Calvary FC at the interval.
After the break Jinja North United FC’s head coach Sadiq Ssempigi and his assistant were send off from the touchline for their aggressive act towards the center referee.
Before Dickson Okwir put game to bed by doubling the lead to hand Calvary FC 2-0 lead just three minutes to stoppage time.
The visitors also received another blow when their striker Salim Huud was sent off for a dangerous tackle on Calvary FC player as they were condemned to their third defeat this season.
