Shaban, Okello On Target As KCCA FC Pile More Misery On Onduparaka FC

Kampala City Council Authority Football Club recorded their seventh win of the season as they defeated Onduparaka FC 2-0 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter played at Bombo Military grounds on Friday.

First half goals from Allan Okello and Muhammad Shaban saw the Kassasiro Boys pile more misery on Onduparaka as they condemned them to their sixth defeat this campaign.

Allan Okello put the visitors ahead as he converted from a spot kick in the 31st minute after Rogers Mater was brought down in the forbidden area.

Before Muhammad Shaban sealed the victory at the stroke of half time as he opened his account for the KCCA FC with a cool finish against his former pay masters as KCCA FC took a 2-0 lead at the interval.

After the break, the Caterpillars tried to comeback stronger insearch of a goal but coundn’t find the back of the net as KCCA FC held on to edge Onduparaka FC 2-0.

Victory temporarily lifts KCCA FC to the top of the log with 22 points ahead of Wakiso Giants who face BUL FC. Meanwhile Onduparaka FC remain rooted at the bottom of the log with 2 points from 10 matches.

Onduparaka FC are back in action on Wednesday 7th December away to Vipers SC at St Mary’s stadium while KCCA FC visit Express FC on Friday 9th December at Wankulukuku stadium in their next encounter.
