‘I’m so happy to be back home after 9 years’- Murushid Juuko Reacts On Returning To Vipers SC
StarTimes Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers Sports Club have completed the signing of Murushid Juuko from Express Football Club ahead of the coming campaign.
The Venoms have tied the talented and experienced center back on a deal that will see him remain at the club until 2024.
Juuko who returned to St Mary’s Stadium Kitende for a second spell after nine years, has inked a two-year employment contract as a free agent after his contract at Wankulukuku stadium expired.
Ahead of his second debut for Vipers, Juuko has spoken to www.viperssc.co.ug and the defender stated that he’s happy to be back home after nine years.
“I have a fantastic history with this amazing club. I started my career here when l was young and of course I’m so happy to be back home after 9 years. So I’m really glad and looking forward to giving my best for this club once again,” Murushid Juuko told Vipers SC Media.
“I think it’s the best decision that I have made. It’s right on point in my opinion.”
“I moved from Express FC now to Vipers SC, it’s a new chapter, I’m so happy and glad, and I want to carry on again, to make history, to try to help the Venoms achieve great results, to make a mark again,” he concluded.
The 28-year old has previously played for Victoria University (now defunct), Simba SC (Tanzania), Wydad Athletic Club (Morocco) and most recently Express FC.
He turns into membership the eigth signing for Vipers SC after the arrivals of Alfred Macumu Mudekereza, Olivier Osomba, Abubakar Lawal, Isa Mubiru, Marvin Joseph Youngman, Ashraf Mandela and Abdu Lumala.
Vipers SC will symbolize Uganda in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League after being crowned champions of the 2021/22 StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
