
Kitara FC Confirm New Head Coach
Mark Twinamatsiko is back at Kitara Football Club after being reappointed as the new head coach ahead of the coming 2022/23 StarTimes FUFA Big League season.
He replaces Richard Makumbi who has been upraised to the position of the club’s Technical Director.
Twinamatsiko has put pen to paper on a two-year employment contract that will keep him at Masindi stadium until 2024.
The club issued the following statement on their official Facebook page confirming the return of the mentor for a second stint.
“The management of FUFA Big league entity Kitara FC has re-appointed Mark Twinamasiko as head coach on a two years contract,” Reads part of club statement.
“Twinamasiko Replaces Another experienced coach Richard Makumbi who has been elevated to the position of technical director at the club.”
The CAF “C” licensed gaffer was in charge of the Masindi based club during the 2018/19 FBL season and during that time he guided the club to the top-tier league after defeating Kiboga Young 1-0 courtesy of a lone goal from Brian Muluuli in the final of the FUFA Big League promotional playoffs.
He has previously coached at UCU, Free stars, Kyagwe saza, Bugerere Saza, Saints, Jinja ss, Kiira utd, Dove FC, Kitara FC and most recently at Kigezi Home boys.
