
Ex-Onduparaka FC Head Coach Rejoins Regional League Entity Water FC
The former Onduparaka Football Club boss’ intention is to develop a strong Water Football Club team that is capable of delivering success in the Kampala regional league ahead of the 2022-23 show-piece.
Kampala Regional side Water FC have announced the return of Vialli Bainomugisha to the club as their new head coach.
The CAF “B” licensed gaffer rejoined the club on a one-year contract after having been jobless since parting ways with Blacks Power FC a few months ago.
Water FC released the following statement on Tuesday evening confirming the announcement of their former tactician.
“We are proud to announce the return of Mr. Viali Bainomugisha as our Head Coach for the 2022/2023 Season,” reads club statement.
Bainomugisha has previously coached Kisugu united Fc.2007 (regional league), Koboko fc.2012.(big league), Iweza Fc.2013_2015 (Uganda premier league), water Fc 2015_2017(big league), Mbarara City FC 2017_2018 (Uganda premier league), kabale sharp FC 2019(big league), Onduparaka Fc 2020 (Uganda premier league) and most recently Blacks Power FC 2022 (Big League).
The experienced mentor is best remembered for promoting Lweza FC to UPL in 2013, Mbarara City FC to FUFA Big League and recently Blacks Power to StarTimes Uganda Premier League
The Kibuli SS old boy is the current head coach of Ankole Province in the ongoing FUFA Drum tournament.
Vialli Bainomugisha opened up about his move: “I know the history of this club and the passion of the fans, and I am absolutely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve.”
