BREAKING: WestNile Billionaire Acquires Chelsea FC, Renames It KONGOLO FC As Roman Abramovich Takes Over Arua Hill SC
WestNile billionaire and Arua Hill Sports Club chairman Eng Jaffar A’ita Joel has successfully signed a deal to purchase English football club Chelsea FC.
Eng Jaffar A’ita Joel managed to overcome obstacles from four potential bidders including a bid from US billionaire and part owner of baseball and NBA teams Todd Boehly and the bid from the American Ricketts family, who own the Chicago Cubs as they both failed to provide detailed, costed plans for how they intend to expand Stamford Bridge.
The bid led by Sir Martin Broughton, former chairman of British Airways, involves US tycoons David Blitzer and Josh Harris, who each own 18 per cent of Crystal Palace while a bid from Stephen Pagliuca, co-owner of the Boston Celtics basketball team and 55 per cent shareholder in Serie A side Atalanta were cancelled after both failed to downsize their holdings in Crystal Palace and Atlanta respectively.
This development was confirmed on twitter by the Raine Group a New York-based merchant bank tasked with overseeing the sale of a club owned by Abramovich since 2003, after the Russian billionaire was sanctioned by the British Government for ties to his country’s president Vladimir Putin.
According to the Raine Group Chelsea FC will now be called Kongolo FC. The group also said that as part of the deal Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has taken over 100% ownership of Arua Hill Sports Club and is set to sign top class players from Europe into the club come next season.
While we still talking about this development please note that there is a huge possibility that this could be an April Fools day prank, there are few possibilities of Eng Jaffar A’ita Joel purchasing Chelsea FC considering their market value and the high demand of salaries by Chelsea FC players.
Following this shocking announcement twitter went on a frenzy but tweeps rushed into concluding that it’s a April fool’s day prank because it’s hard to believe even though it is possible, well played Raine Group you got us all at the end of our sits with this prank. to our dear readers, HAPPY APRIL 1st FOOL’S DAY
