
URA 0-0 Arua Hill: Alfred Leku Denied A Winner In An Entertaining Goalless Draw Against URA FC
Alfred Leku had a goal wrongly ruled out for offside as Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club were held to a goalless draw by Arua Hill Sports Club in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League round 23 encounter played at Arena of Visions in Ndejje on Wednesday afternoon.
The Tax Collectors made only one change from the thumping win over SC Villa as Sam Timbe introduced Dada Ibrahim for Rwothomio Abang Crowmwell.
While Arua Hill SC made five changes to the side that drew with Tooro United, as Farouk Musisi, Toha Rashid and Geriga Atendele got the start in the defense while Allan Mugalu and Innocent Media joined replaced Robert Eseru and Steven Kabuye.
URA were delt a major blow when Moses Sseruyidde limped out due to injury and was replaced by Shafik Kagimu just ten minutes from kickoff.
Two minutes later, The Kongolo Boys went close to scoring when a powerful header from Toha Rashid went wide off Wahab Gadafi’s corner-kick delivery.
There was very little to report on in the first-half as both sides went to the break without goals.

The game opened up in the early stages of the second stanza and Ronald Kigongo had a big chance for URA three minutes in but his strike went wide of the post.
The visitors were also threatening as Toha Rashid came close to breaking the deadlock in the 63rd minute with a brilliant header that hit the woodwork following a corner-kick cross from Wahab.
Abang Crowmwell Rwothomio missed an opportunity to put the hosts ahead as his strike was well saved by Arua Hill SC custodian Anyama Richard in the 66 minutes.
Shafik Kagimu and Viane Ssekajjugo also had efforts well saved by Arua Hill Sports Club custodian Anyama Richard.

Arua Hill thought they had taken the lead within 20 minutes remaining when Alfred Leku’s brilliant header off Gadafi Wahab’s free-kick was wrongly ruled out for an offside.
Both teams pushed to find a late Winner but ultimately it was a game for the defenders as neither back four would budge with the match ending goalless
The draw means URA FC remained in the 2nd place of the log with 43 points from 23 games while Arua Hill SC are in the 5th place of the log with 38 points from 23 matches.
The Tax Collectors are back in action on Monday 4th April 2022 as they visit BUL FC at Kyabazinga Stadium while Arua Hill SC host Gadafi FC at Barifa Stadium on Wednesday 6th April in their next encounter.
