Maroons Kingpin Fred Amaku Left Out As Byekwaso names traveling Uganda Cranes Squad for Mali, Zambia Friendly Games
West Nile Province and Maroons FC kingpin Fred Amaku has been left out of Uganda Cranes travelling squad for the upcoming international friendly matches.
Newly appointed Uganda Cranes interim head coach Morley Byekwaso Ochama has announced a 24-man traveling Uganda Cranes Squad to face Mali and Zambia ahead of the October International break.
Abdu Aziizi Kayondo who plies his trade in Israel with Hapoel Tel Aviv FC is the only foreign based player who will travel with the contingent from Uganda while the rest of the foreign based stars are expected to join the camp from their various clubs.
The team will depart Uganda on Tuesday morning (2am) aboard Ethiopian Airways and will lock horns with Mali on Friday, 13th October at Stade du Mars in Bamako.
After they will head to Dubai, United Arab Emirates where they will play against Zambia on Tuesday, 17th October 2023 at Hamriya Stadium.
The squad comprises of three goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders and five forwards.
