Innocent Media: Italian Club Lucera Calcio Make Decision On West Nile Province Youngster
Italian third division club, ASD Lucera Calcio have made up their minds on West Nile Province’s budding youngster.
Lucera Calcio have decided to reach a permanent agreement to keep former Arua Hill SC youthful striker Ronald Innocent Media ahead of the new campaign.
Media who joined the club in 2023 from the Kongolo Boys on undisclosed contract agreement will stay in the white colours for the upcoming 2024/25 sports season.
This development was confirmed on Wednesday evening via the club’s various social media platforms.
“Lucera Calcio informs that it has reached an agreement for the permanent position in Ronald Media Innocent’s white shirt for the 2024/25 sports season,” reads part of club statement.
“Arriving last summer from Arua Hill Sports Club, the Ugandan striker, class of 2002, will continue to roar at the Municipal. The renewal aims to grow a young and promising boy, who at the same time has shown commitment and professionalism to the Lucerine cause. Let’s go, forward, together!.”
Media, a budding prospect, netted nine goals in 17 league matches in the 2022/23 season as Arua Hill finished fourth.
The 22-year-old joined the Kongolo Boys in the 2021/22 season scoring two goals in six appearances following an impressive performance with Buddo SSS, where he was captain.
He later left Arua Hill SC and joined Lucera Calcio where he spent the whole of the 2023/24 season and scored 12 goals for the Italian based club.
