Sharif Kimbowa: URA FC Unveil Former Wakiso Giants Striker As 11th Signing Ahead Of New Season
Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club have announced the signing of striker Sharif Kimbowa ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
Kimbowa joins the Tax Collectors from Wakiso Giants Football Club.
The dreadlocked energetic and composed forward inked a two-year employment contract that will keep him at the club until 2025.
On Tuesday, URA FC released a statement confirming the striker’s arrival on their official website.
“Sharif Kimbowa has completed his move to URA FC on a 2 year contract from Wakiso Giants FC,” reads club statement.
Kimbowa has previously featured for Busoga United and most recently Wakiso Giants FC.
The striker put up an impressive performance last season at Wakiso Giants, bagging nine goals from 24 matches to help the Purple Sharks finish 8th on a 15-team table.
He turns into membership the 11th signing after the arrivals of Kisiriko Denis Luzige, Kisolo John Innocent, Amis Bwangani, Godfrey Sekibengo, Aliro Moses Okabo, Ibrahim Wammanah, Denis Otim, Norman Namanya, Enock Walusimbi and Rogers Omedwa.
