Joel Sserunjogi: KCCA FC Confirm 7th Signing Ahead Of New Season
Kampala City Council Authority Football Club have announced the signing of defensive midfielder Joel Sserunjogi ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
Joel Sserunjogi joins the Lugogo based entity from Kajjansi United Football Club.
The 21-year old youngster inked a three-year employment contract that will keep him at the club until 2026.
On Thursday, KCCA FC released a statement confirming the defender’s arrival on their official website.
“Youngster Joel Sserunjogi has completed his move to KCCA Football Club,” reads part of club statement.
Speaking during his unveiling Serunjogi said: “It is a great opportunity to play for the club.
“This is a club with a rich history and tradition, and I’m really excited to be a part of it. I know that I will be joining a team of exceptional athletes, and I look forward to working with them and contributing to the team’s success.”
“The Manager has already spoken with me and told me how he wants me to help the team and I am excited to get started,” he concluded.
Serunjogi has previously featured for Kajjansi United FC and in the Masaza competition for Buddu and Busiro.
He turns into membership the 7th signing for KCCA FC after the arrivals of Brazilians Joao Gabriel and Vinicius Michael plus Angolans Emilson Gonzaga, Cungulo Da Silva, Adilson Bruno Mfulu and Etienne Katenga.
