Mbale Heroes Seal Promotion To FUFA Big League

Eastern Regional League champions Mbale Heroes Football Club have been promoted to FUFA Big League following their 7-0 win over Bukeddea Central FC.

The Surgeons will compaign in the local second division flight after edging out North Eastern Regional League champions Bukeddea Central Fc 2-0 at Mbale Municipal stadium on Thursday evening.

Akram Muzanyi and Emma Shikanga scored in either sides of the clash to hand Mbale Heroes the much needed victory.

The first leg of the promotional play-offs saw Mbale Heroes Crush Bukeddea Central 7-0

Victory means Mbale Heroes earn sporting promotion to 2023/2024 FUFA Big League season.

The Surgeons now join Kiyinda Boys Football club and Northern Gateway as the final team to get promoted to second tier division League.
