Uganda cup: Police FC edged Adjumani Town Council 1-0 in semi final.

Police FC one step from Uganda cup final after a first leg home win advantage.
The poor run for Adjumani based club Adjumani Town Council that saw the club relegated from the big league continues as they were once again beaten by Police FC in the Uganda cup semi final first leg by 1-0 a game played on Monday afternoon at Kavumba recreation ground.
Police FC had to take the early first half lead through a well converted penalty in the 7th minutes by Hassan Kikooyo who made no mistake from the spot when he placed the ball into the net.
Despite creating some chances in the game,A Adjumani Town council were not able to make any big impact in the game as they failed to find the back of the net for the full 90 minutes of the match.
however Adjumani Town Council still have a chance to bounce back from the first leg loss since there another game to be played at home in the second leg of the semi final.
The two big league sides played the first semi final of the Uganda cup with the second semi final will see Viper’s SC playing against Soltino Bright Stars whose attacker Emmanuel Loki is the top scorer in the Uganda cup with 5 goals.
The final of the Uganda cup is set to be played in Akibua’s stadium in Lira city.
