BUL FC vs Express Preview: Eastern Giants Seek Return To Winning Ways.
Eastern Giants BUL Football Club will be hoping to go all the way to secure three points when they face Express FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premium League.
The mouth-watering clash is set to take centre stage at FUFA Technical Center on Saturday 08/04/2023, kick-off is at 14h00.
BUL fell 2-0 to Onduparaka FC in their previous encounter at Ababet Greenlight stadium while Express defeated Onduparaka FC 4-1 in their most recent outing at Wakulukukuku stadium.
Simeon Masaba’s sides have only won two of their last five games in all competitions which has left them third in the log standings with 30 points from 20 matches.
Meanwhile Express Fc have collected 7 points out of their last five matches in all competitions and are currently sitting in the 11th place on 22 points from 30 games.
Head-To-Head BUL FC vs Express FC:
The last time the two teams met, Express FC returned winners as they defeated BUL FC 1-0 in the reverse fixture courtesy of a lone goal from Allan Kayiwa at the Mutesa II Stadium Wankulukuku last year.
However tomorrow’s clash will be the 21st meeting between the two teams with BUL FC recording 8 wins while Express FC registered 7 wins and five of the meetings ended in draws.
Team News:
BUL will be without the trio of Ronald Otti, Reagan Kalyowa and Jerome Kirya due to respective injuries but the rest of the squads are available for selection.
Express FC on the other hand will be without Derrick Ngoobi due to red card picked against Onduparaka FC while Hussein Ssennoga is back after finishing his one match ban due to accumulated yellow cards.
The trio of Ivan Mayanja, Daniel Shabene and Denis Otim will have to pass late fitness tests to be available.
