
Wakiso Giants Fc confirms Frank Ssebuufu transfer to New York Red Bulls ||
Uganda premier league side Wakiso Giants Fc have confirmed striker Frank Ssebuufu transfer to United States of America USA side New York Red Bulls ||.
The club broke the news on their social media platforms on Monday 20th March afternoon.
The 21 year old striker joined the Purple sharks in January 2021 from Kampala region League side Lunguja Galaxy Fc.
During his time at Wakiso Giants Fc, Ssebuufu scored six goals in sixty appearances in all competitions.
In the 2022/2023 campaign, the young lad had three goals to his from fifteen league matches.
Apart from Lunguja Galaxy Fc, Ssebuufu played for Kiboga Young Fc wma team where he started his football career.
In the Buganda masaza tournament, he featured for Buudu team.
Ssebuufu was part of the Uganda Cranes team in the 2022 African Nations Championship last year where he played three matches, totalling UpTo to 199 minutes.
New York Red Bulls || is coached by Uganda Cranes former captain Ibrahim Ssekagya.
Ssekagya scouyed Ssebuufu on his visit to Uganda late last year.
Should Ssebuufu deal go through as expected, he will join fellow country mate Steven Sserwadda who joined them from KCCA FC.
New York Red Bulls|| are currently rock bottom (14th) on the table with 15 points from 34 games.
They have won three, drawn six and lost a total of twenty five games.
