Vipers SC start life under Alex Isabirye away to Wakiso Giants Fc: Uganda Cup

Coach Alex Isabirye era kicks off at Vipers SC with a visit to Wakiso Giants Fc at Kabaka kyabagu stadium on Tuesday 14th of March in the Stanbic Uganda cup round of 16.
Isabirye who crossed from BUL FC was unveiled at St Mary’s stadium Kitende on Sunday 12th as Beto Bianchi Pellister who was sacked after seven games in charge.
The experienced Isabirye first task at Vipers SC is to win the Uganda cup which he has won twice with Victoria University Fc in 2013 and recently with BUL FC all against Vipers SC and the finals being played in Masindi.
Two Wakiso based clubs have sofar met twice this season in the league all ending in draws.
Recently the two settled for a burren stalemate at Kitende while in first round it ended 1-1 at Kabaka kyabagu stadium.
Vipers SC have needed penalty shootouts in two games to reach this stage.
At the round of 32 against Kitara region League side Bujumbura United in Hoima City Vipers SC emerged 4-1 winners in penalties after a goalless draw in normal time.
Same story against FUFA Big League outfit Jinja North United at Kyabazinga stadium in Bugembe at the round of 16, normal ended with no goal from either side. Once again the Venoms progressing to the next stage on 7-6 victory after penalty shootouts.

At round of 16 away at Akibua stadium in Lira city, the purple sharks eliminated Blacks Power fc 6-5 in penalties after a goalless stalemate in the ninety minutes.
