Uganda Cup: Police Fc complete quarter final puzzle with Ndejje University win

Police fc became the eighth and last club to qualify to the last 8 of the 49th edition of the Stanbic Uganda cup.
Police Fc beat fellow FUFA Big League side Ndejje University Fc 2-0 at Kavumba recreation ground on Monday 20th of March.
Two second half goals from Denis Kalanzi and Herman Wasswa were enough to send Angelo Lonyesi coached side to the last eight.
After a burren stalemate, 19 minutes off an hour mark Denis Kalanzi drew first blood putting the home side into a 1-0 lead heading home Joseph Sentume cross.
Five minutes to the final whistle, striker Herman Wasswa needed four minutes onto the pitch to double Police Fc lead from Adam Mutesasira well calculated cross from the right frank.
Wasswa was introduced in the 81st minutes replacing Danjuma Ahmed Aliyu.
The cops join other seven clubs in the quarter finals. They include Vipers SC, KCCA FC, Soltilo Bright Stars Fc, Express Fc, BUL FC, Calvary fc and Adjumani Town Council Fc.
For Ndejje University Fc, they turn attention to fighting for their lives in the FUFA Big League where they are one point off the relegation zone with nine matches to wrap up the season.
They visit Kyetume Fc at Nakisunga ssaza ground in Mukono on Thursday 23rd of March on the matchday 22.
On the other side, Police fc continue the fight for bouncing back to flight. They are 2nd on the table, four points bellow leaders Kitara Fc. Their next assignment they host Mbarara City Fc at Kavumba recreation ground on Thursday 23rd of March.
