
PHOTOS: New Vipers SC Head Coach Conducts First Training At St Mary’s Stadium
Former BUL FC head coach Alex Isabirye conducted his first training session with Vipers Sports Club players after arriving at St Mary’s Stadium in Entebbe on Sunday.
Isabirye who will be working with his coaching staff, Richard Wasswa, Ibrahim Mugisha and Kato Ibrahim touched down in St Mary’s stadium on Sunday morning before his official unveiling as the new head coach of the Venoms.
The gaffer then headed straight to meet the players and toured the facilities before conducting his first training session.
The exciting development was posted by the club via their various social media platforms on Sunday evening.
The 47-year old gaffer has touch tasks of defending the Uganda Premier League where Vipers SC sit fourth with 28 points, seven adrift of leaders KCCA FC who have played a game more, securing some positive points from the CAF Champions League where the Venoms lie fourth in Group C with a point and of course guiding the Venoms to Uganda Cup glory.
He will begin his first test on Tuesday 14th March as Vipers Sports Club face Wakiso Giants at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium in Wakisha in the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round 16 encounter.
