Group Stage Draw For 2023 Arua City IDD CUP Confirmed

The organizers of the annual Arua City IDD Cup tournament have confirmed the groups for the 2023 show-piece.

The groups for the 2023 Arua City IDD Cup were confirmed on Sunday afternoon following the draw conducted at Arua Islamic Primary school in Arua City.

Only twelve teams have confirmed participation after fully paying a fee of one hundred and twenty thousand Ugandan shillings (120000UGX) as registration fee with eight more teams expected to complete registration as soon as possible.

Defending champions Arua Young Boys have been draw in Group A alongside Tanganyika United and Arua Islamic SS plus two more slots as they look towards the journey of retaining the crown they secured for the first time in their history in the 2022 showpiece.

Meanwhile special guest team Arua City Media team who are in Group C will lock horns alongside Asil FC and Galaxy FC plus two more teams that are yet to be confirmed.

The kickoff dates and full fixtures for the 2023 Arua City IDD Cup tournament is expected to be announced next week on Wednesday.
