Onform Omedi Denis was again the saviour as Booma Fc managed a 1-0 narrow victory away to Soroti City Fc at Soroti City stadium in the FUFA Big League on Thursday 2nd of March.
Booma fc captain Omedi Denis continued with his scoring form by grabbing the only goal as the Tukyate Boys beat Soroti City Fc 1-0 in Soroti.
The only goal came in the 71st when second half substitute Dodi Ismael crossed to Omedi who made no mistake but to put the ball at the back of the net hence his side going one goal up.
This was Omedi’s third goal in four games in second round but 19th since the start of the season where he is leading the top scorers chat.
The result means the Masindi side is unbeaten in second round in four games, won two, drawn two scoring seven goals and let in three in the process.
More so coach Alinaitwe Fred’s Booma Fc registered the 7th win in 19 matches moved from 7th to 5th on the log with 27 points.
Simon Otim coached team Soroti City suffered tenth loss of the season but second in second round in four games. The other two ended in defeats.
They remain with only two wins in the campaign with 20 points 13th on the table.
Next on agenda Soroti City Fc will travel to Jinja where they visit Jinja North United Fc on matchday 20 on Thursday 9th of March.
On the same day Booma fc will be at home Masindi stadium where they welcome religation candidate Adjumani Town Council Fc.
