FUFA BIG LEAGUE: Calvary Visit Police At Kavuma Recreational Center
Police Football Club and Calvary Football Club will both be hoping to return to winning ways in Thursday afternoon’s FUFA Big League clash at Kavuma Recreational Center.
The hosts head into this particular encounter after playing to a goalless draw against Kataka Football Club at Mbale Municipal stadium in their previous meeting.
The draw left Police in the 4th position in the StarTimes FUFA Big League log standings on 34 points and a win for them will see them increase a superior gap between their opponent and leapfrog Kitara FC to the third place should they fail to register a win against Lugazi FC the same day.
As for Calvary FC they were demolished 3-1 by Kyetume Football Club at Nakisunga playground the last time out.
The defeat saw them remain in the 5th place on 27 points from 18 games and a win for them will not change their position but reduce their deficit to 4 points adrift their opponent.
Police FC vs Calvary FC-Head-To-Head:
This will be the second time the two teams will meet in the Big League. The first encounter between Calvary FC and Police FC ended in a 1-all draw with Kiibi William’s header for Police cancelling off Dickens Kilama’s opener for Calvary FC.
