Calvary fc have paid back to Kitara Fc after a 2-1 score line in favour of the home team at Midigo play ground in Yumbe district on Sunday 26th March.
It should be remembered Kitara Fc beat Calvary Fc 3-0 in the reverse fixture in Hoima City.
All the three goals were scored in first half of which two were penalties.
Ogenga Ronald and Khedi Micheal were on the score sheet for the home team while Aheebwa Jasper for the visitors.
Kitara fc who came to this fixture having not conceded any goal in the last three matches, ten minutes into the match were already 1-0 down.
Ogenga Ronald converted from the spot kick putting his club into an lead.
Eleven minutes later, left full back Aheebwa Jasper leveled matters to 1-1 also from the penalty kick after the Calvary Fc defender had handled the ball in the box.
Khedi Micheal restored Calvary Fc lead ten minutes to the break, hence going to the dressing rooms 2-1 infavour of the home club.
Thirteen minutes played into the second stanza, Paul Mucureezi had his goal from the free kick cancelled.
Finally the final whistle was blown by the center referee Calvary Fc emerging 2-1 winners.
Despite dropping three points, Kitara Fc remain top of the table with 43 points from 22 games, two above second placed Mbarara City Fc who shared spoils with Police Fc (1-1) at Kavumba recreation ground.
This was Calvary Fc seventh straight win at home, they have conceded only four goals in the process.
They moved up to 5th position with 33 points after 22 games, seven bellow Police Fc who are 4th.
Kitara fc return home welcoming Police Fc on Thursday 30th March while Calvary Fc travel Luweero United on the same date.
