Blacks Power 1-0 Wakiso Giants: Siwu’s Late Strike Lifts Blacks Power Out Of Relegation Zone
Blacks Power Football Club took themselves out of relegation zone following a 1-0 win over Wakiso Giants at Akibua Stadium in Lira City on Wednesday.
Siwu Mike bagged the only goal of the encounter in a highly contested league clash that saw Hussein Mbalangu’s stun the Purple Sharks
The forwards’ goal came in the 90+2 minutes to help lift the hosts out of drop zone as they condemned Wakiso Giants to their sixth defeat of the season.
Victory, Blacks Power’s third elevated them out of the relegation zone and in the 13th place on 15-team log standings with 15 points after 18 matches.
The Purple Sharks meanwhile are in the 5th position on 25 points after 18 games.
Blacks Power are back in action on Thursday 30th March as they visit Arua Hill SC at Barifa stadium while Wakiso Giants host UPDF FC at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium in their next clash the next day.
