
Alex Isabirye is Vipers SC new head coach.
Star times Uganda premier league side Vipers SC has appointed experienced coach Alex Isabirye as the new coach who has crossed from fellow top tier side BUL FC.
Isabirye comes as a direct replacement of Beto Bianchi Pelliser who was sacked early this week.
“I’m excited to present this fantastic club. Am very excited to be here and look forward to meeting and working with the exciting group of players and to develop a team and culture that our amazing fans can be proud of.” Said Alex Isabirye.

Isabirye joining the Venoms comes a day after guiding former club BUL FC to the round of 16 of Stanbic Uganda cup by edging SC Villa 1-0 in the rematch, thanks to Ibra Nsimbe goal.
At Vipers SC, Isabirye will works with others coached already at the club in Kato Ibrahim, Richard Wasswa and Ibrahim Mugisha.
The experienced Isabirye is a winning tactician with two Uganda cup trophies he won with BUL FC in 2022 and Victoria University Fc 2013 all in Masindi and against Vipers SC.
A part from BUL FC, Isabirye has former coached Kyetume Fc, Busoga United, Soana fc (now Tooro United) and Horseed fc in Somalia.

Alex Isabirye’s first assignment at Vipers SC will be in the Stanbic Uganda cup round of 16 where they visit Wakiso Giants Fc at Kabaka kyabagu stadium on Tuesday 14th of March.
Other Isabirye tasks at Vipers SC are defending the league title they won last season. They are currently 4th on the table with 28 points seven bellow leaders KCCA FC and a game down.
He will also take charge of the two remaining fixtures in the CAF champions where they are bottom of group C (4th) with one point from four games.
Vipers will travel to Guinea to take on Horoya AC then at home st Mary’s stadium Kitende host Raja Casablanca.
