Oscar Mawa Joins Italian Side Lucera Calcio

Italian lower division entity Lucera Calcio hav e completed the signing of West Nile born youngster Oscar Mawa aka Senke.

The former SC Villa teenager joins Lucera Calcio after impressing the club’s management when he scored a hat-trick and provided one assist on his debut during their victory against Hannover.

This development was made known to the public via the clubs various social media sites.

“The sky-white club announces that it has arranged to sign Oscar Mawa.Striker class 2005, Ugandan Yumbe has his quickness and explosive power qualities, highlighted in the Sports Club Villa Jogo. (Ugandan Premier League) so much to attract the attention of the Gru, who have selected him time and again for all the national teams.” reads club statement.

Speaking about this Mawa said: “I can’t wait to play, I’ve been waiting for this moment for months that’s why I’ve always worked with dedication and commitment, waiting for my situation to unlock and for that I thank the company for the hard work done: I knew that before or then my time would come.”

Mawa a graduate of KCCA FC junior won the top scorer award as he scord six goals to help Uganda win the 2020 U-17 CECAFA Championship in Kigali.
