
“Im Excited To Score Againts My Former Team” Shaban Reacts To Scoring Against Former Club Onduparaka
Striker Muhammad Shaban has stated that he is “very happy” to score against his former club as his side Kampala City Council Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) defeated Onduparaka Football Club 2-0 at Bombo Military Grounds on Friday evening.
Shaban who left Onduparaka FC last season to join the Kassasiro Boys opened his goal scoring account for the club as he came back to haunt his former club by netting the second goal in the added minutes of the break with a brilliant finish.
Allan Okello broke the deadlock for KCCA FC in the 31st minute after conerting from a spot kick when Rogers Mato was fouled inside the box to Morley Byekwaso’s guns a rountine win against the Caterpillars.
“As a striker im very happy to score today coz we strikers we are known by scoring,” Says Shaban to KCCA FC media.
“Im excited to score against my former team of course they played very well but of course the best team won.”
Victory elevated KCCA FC to the top of the log with 22 points just one point above secon placed Wakiso Giants. Meanwhile Onduparaka FC remain rooted at the bottom of the log with 2 points from 10 matches.
KCCA FC are back in action on Friday 9th December as they visit Express Foootball Club at Wankulukuku stadium.
