
Uganda Premier League WRAP: Vipers Edge 10-Man SC Villa To Move Second As BUL FC Drop To Fourth Place Of The Log
StarTimes Uganda Premier League resumed on Tuesday with five games on card as Vipers SC, Bright Stars, KCCA FC, and Blacks Power all recording wins during their various encounters this evening.
Vipers Sports Club 2-0 Sports Club Villa:
Yunus Sentamu and Abdul Karim Watambala scored in either side of the encounter as Vipers Sports Club defeated Sports Club Villa 2-0 at St Mary’s stadium.
Victory saw Vipers SC move to the second place of the log with 20 points from 9 matches while SC Villa dropped to the 7th place with 14 points from 10 games.
Both teams are back in action on Sunday 4th December as Vipers visit Gadaffi at Kakindu Municipal stadium while Villa host Maroons FC at Akibua stadium.
Bright Stars FC 2-0 BUL FC:
Nelson Ssenkatuka scored a magical brace as Bright Stars saw off BUL FC 2-0 at Kavuma Recreational Center.
Senkatuka scored in either, first converting from a well taken free kick, before sealing his double 11 minutes from break to condemn BUL FC to their second defeat of the season.
The result elevates Bright Stars to the 6th place with 14 points from 10 games while BUL FC dropped to the fourth place of the log with 17 points from 9 matches.
Bright Stars are back in action on Monday 5th December away to Busoga United Kakindu Municipal while BUL FC host Wakiso Giants at FUFA Technical Center on Friday 2nd December.
KCCA FC 2-1 Gaddafi FC:
Brian Majwega and Allan Okello scored in either half of the clash as KCCA FC stunned Gaddafi FC 2-1 at Phillips Omondi stadium.
Alex Kitata scored a consolation goal for Gaddafi FC as they suffered their 3rd defeat this campaign.
Victory lifts KCCA FC to the third place of the log with 19 points after 10 matches and are back in action on Friday 2nd December as they visit Onduparaka FC at Bombo Military grounds.
Meanwhile Gaddafi FC are in the 9th position with 12 points from 9 games and are back in action on Sunday 4th December as they host Vipers SC.
Elsewhere Okello Ivan scored the only goal of the clash as Blacks Power defeated UPDF FC 1-0 at Akibua for their first home win as Maroons FC and URA FC settled for share of spoils after a 2-2 draw.
