SUPL WRAP: Wakiso Giants Move To The Third Place Of The Log, Gadaffi Register First Win
There were wins for Wakiso Giants and Gadaffi Modern FC during their respective StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounters played on Tuesday evening.
Busoga United FC 0-1 Gadaffi FC:
Gadaffi FC picked up their first win of the season as they defeated Busoga United 1-0 at Kakindu Municipal Stadium.
Steven Mungunci scored the only goal of the clash to hand Wasswa Bbosa his first win of the season.
Victory lifts Gadaffi to the 9th place of the log with 6 points after 5 games while Busoga United are rooted in the 4th place from the bottom of log with 3 points after 6 games.
Busoga United are back in action on Saturday 12 November as they visit Onduparaka FC at Bombo Military Grounds while Gadaffi challenge Wakiso Giants at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium on 18 November.
Wakiso Giants FC 2-1 URA FC:
Wakiso Giants secured their third consecutive win as they defeated URA FC 2-1 at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium.
Norman Ojik and Moses Aliro secored in either half of the clash to hand the Purple Sharks the much needed wins.
James Besiga bagged a consolation goal as URA FC suffer second defeat of the season.
Victory saw Wakiso Giants move to the third place of the log with 10 points after 5 games while URA FC dwelling in the 7th place of the log with 6 points after 6 games.
Wakiso Giants are back in action on Friday 11November away against Villa while URA FC host Arua Hill in their next encounter the next day.
