
SC Villa 0-3 KCCA FC: KCCA FC Crush Rivals SC Villa To Move Third Of The Log
Kampala City Council Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) provided a perfect response from their 1-1 draw against URA FC by thrashing Sports Club Villa in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter played behind closed doors at Akibu Stadium.
An own goal from Gift Fred and goals from Muhamed Kagawa Ssenoga and Waiswa Moses ensured KCCA FC produced a brilliant first-half perfomances as they crushed Sports Club Villa 3-0 on Friday evening.
The visitors started the better side and were ahead when Gift Fred headed Mato Rogers’ cross into his own to hand KCCA FC a 1-0 lead just 3 minutes from kick off.
Muhamed Kagawa doubled the lead for the visitors in the 32 minutes after beating Kenneth Ssemakula to slot past Meddie Kibirige to open his goal scoring account for the Kassasiro Boys.
Six minutes later, Moses Waiswa seled the victory as he added the third from a brilliant free-kick to hand KCCA FC a 3-0 lead in the first stanza.
After the break, The Jogoos managed to come back stong but failed to find the back of the net as KCCA FC held on for their 5th win of the season.
Victory temporarily lifts KCCA FC to the third place of the table with 16 points two adrift leaders Wakiso Giants while SC Villa dropped to the 6th position with 14 points from 9 games.
Both teams are back in action on Tuesday 29th November as SC Villa visit Vipers SC at St Mary’s Stadium while KCCA FC host Gadaffi Modern Football Club at Phillip Omondi stadium.
