Disjointed Arua Hill Suffer 4th Consecutive Defeat Against Gadaffi FC
Gadaffi Modern Football Club became the latest team to benefit from Arua Hill’s tenuous squad, winning 2-0 at Kakindu Municipal stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Alex Kitata and Brian Kalumba scored in the second half to hand Wasswa Bbosa’s men their third win of the season as Charles Livingston Mbabazi’s guns who were reduced to a man down in the 73rd minute, suffered their fourth consecutive defeat.
Following a goalless first stanza, Alex Kitata put Gadaffi ahead in the 60th minute when he headed home Godfrey Lwesibaw’s delivery.
The Leopards played the rest of the remaining 17 minutes with 10 men as Paul Musamali recieceved his marching orders for a bookable offense
Kalumba then sealed the victory for Gadaffi in the 80th minute when he slotted in an empty net after capitalizing from a defensive mix-up between Vuni and goalkeeper Richard Anyama for 2-0 win.
The win saw Gadaffi bounce back from a 2-0 loss at Wakiso Giants on Friday and leapfrogged Arua Hill SC to the7th position of the log with 12 points just 2 points above Arua Hill SC who dropped to the 10th place with 10 points after 8 games.
