SUPL WRAP: Gadaffi, BUL Share Spoils In Jinja Derby As Wakiso Giants Stun UPDF FC In Bombo
Gadaffi Modern Football Club and BUL FC shared spoils while Wakiso Giants recorded a win over UPDF FC during their various StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounters played on Tuesday evening.
Gadaffi FC 1-1 BUL FC:
Gadaffi and BUL FC couldn’t be seperated as they played to a 1-1 draw at Kakindu Municipal Stadium.
Ibrahim Kazindula put the visitors ahead through a penalty kick just 11 minutes from kickoff but Magumba leveled matters for the hosts to ensure share of spoils.
The draw means Gadaffi FC remain in the fourth place from the bottom of the log with 3 points after 4 games while BUL FC remain at the top of the log with 11 points from 5 games.
Gadaffi are back in action on Tuesday 1 November away to Busoga United in yet another Jinja derby clash at Kakindu Municipal Staduim while BUL FC will host Onduparaka FC at FUFA Technical Center in their next encounter the next day.
UPDF FC 0-1 Wakiso Giants FC:
Wakiso Giants FC defeated UPDF FC 1-0 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter played at Bombo Military play grounds.
Moses Aliro scored the only goal of the encounter in 24 minutes to hand the Purple Sharks their first away win and the second win of the season.
Victory lifts Wakiso Giants to the 3rd place of the log with 7 points from 4 games while UPDF FC dropped to the 9th place of the log with 5 points after 5 games.
UPDF FC are back in action on Friday 4 November as they visit Arua Hill SC at Barifa Stadium while Wakiso Giants will entertain URA FC in their next encounter at Kabaka Kyabaggu Sports Stadium on Friday 4 November.
