FUFA BIG LEAGUE WRAP: NEC Move Top Of The LOG As Calvary FC Suffer Second Defeat

NEC FC 2-0 Police FC:
NEC FC recorded their second win of the season as they defeated Police FC 2-0 at Bugolobi Coffe Grounds
Second half goals from Kazibwe Julius Magu and captain Kavuma Marvin condemned Police FC to their first defeat of the season.
Victory means NEC FC move to the top of the log with 6 points after 2 games while Police FC are in the 8th place of the log with 3 points after 2 games.
Both teams are back in action on Thursday 27 October as NEC FC visit Ndejje University at Bombo Military Grounds while Police FC host Kataka FC at Kavumba Recreational ground.
Lugazi FC 3-1 Ndejje University FC:
At Lugazi Municipal Stadium, LUgazi FC picked their first win of the season following a 3-1 victory over Ndejje University FC.
A magical brace from Ogweti Gerald and a goal from Ssali Brain handed the hosts maximum points. Nsubuga bagged a consolation goal for Ndejje as they sufferd their first defeat of the season.
Both teams are back in action on Thursday 27 October as Lugazi visit Mbarara City at Kakyeka stadium while Ndejje will host NEC FC at Bombo Military Grounds.
Elsewhere Calvary Football Club were condemned to their second defeat of the season as they were beaten 3-1 by Kataka at FUFA Technical Center FC while Kaaro Karungi also recorded their first win of the season as they defeated Soroti City FC 2-1 at St George’s Arena.
At Masindi Kitara FC and Booma FC played out to a 2-2 draw while Jinja North settled for a second consucative draw following a 0-0 stalemate against Mbarara City at Kyabazinga Stadiuma as Northern Gateway picked up their first point of the season after playing to a 1-1 draw at the Gate FC.
