
FUFA Has Rescheduled Two FUFA Drum Quarter Final Games
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) have reached an agreement to reschedule the two FUFA Drum quarter final games against Buganda Province vs Acholi Province and Kampala Province against West Nile Province.
The two encounters between Buganda vs Acholi and Kampala vs West Nile were scheduled to take place on Sunday 9th October 2022 but has now been postponed as Vipers Sports Club will be hosting TP Mazembe on the same day.
FUFA has since announced through a document signed by FUFA Competitions director Hajjat Aisha Nalule new dates for the two quarter final games.
According to the document seen by this website, the games will be played on Sunday 23rd October 2022 with the venues remaining unchanged.
In a statement, FUFA announced:
“Vipers SC will be playing the CAF champions match on 9th-October-2022 with TP Mazembe at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende.”
“This is therefore to inform you that the matches that were scheduled on 9th-October 2022 have been postponed to 23rd-October. The venue and time remain unchanged.”
The first leg saw West Nile Province took a commanding advantage after defeating Kampala Province 4-0 at Ababet Greenlight stadium in Arua City and will hoping to seal the victory when they visit Kampala Province on 23rd October at Coffee grounds Bugolobi in the return match.
Meanwhile on the same date, Buganda Province who lost 2-1 to Acholi Province at Boma grounds Kitgum, will be aiming to turn the deficit when they host Acholi Province in the return leg at Kasana grounds in Luweero.
