
Yusuf Ssozi: Express FC Confirm Latest Big Signing For 22/23 Season
Express Football Club have completed the signing of Yusuf Ssozi ahead of the coming 2022/23 campaign.
Ssozi joins the Red Eagles from Police FC where he scored 4 goals and provided 3 assists last season.
He has put pen to paper on a two-year employment contract that will keep him at Wankulukuku stadium until 2024, The Club has confirmed on Monday.
“Talented midfield gem Yusuf Ssozi has penned a 2 year contract with the club that will see him at the club up to 2024,” Reads club statement.
“I am very happy to be joining one of the countries greatest teams, with very many talented players and rich history, I am motivated by it’s great history and am ready to give my best.” Ssozi told expressfc.co.ug
Manager James Odoch added: “Ssozi is one of the best experienced midfielders in the country, having him in the team will be a very good especially for the young players who will learn alot from him.”
Ssozi previously played for Lweza FC, Nairobi City Stars & AFC Leopards both in Kenya, Kalulushi Modern Stars in Zambia, Paidha Black Angels and most recently Police FC.
He turns into membership the eigth signing for the Red Eagles after the arrivals of Benjamin Gakumba, David Lukwago, Hassan Mubiru, Kada Bitakazibwa, Joseph Dhata, Andrew Kaggwa and Anwar Mustapha Ntege.
