Matovu: Onduparaka FC Left Back Joins URA FC Ahead Of 2022-23 Campaign
Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) have completed the signing of left back Patrick Matovu ahead of upcoming 2022-23 season.
Matovu joins the Tax Collectors from WestNile based StarTimes Uganda Premier League entity Onduparaka FC.
This website understands that he has put pen to paper on a two-year employment contract that will keep him at the club until 2024.
The left back replaces Arafat Galiwango who parted ways with the club recently and will compete Derrick Ndahiro in the position ahead of the coming campaign.
He previously played for Arua Hill Sports Club before joining rivals Onduparaka FC in January this year.
URA FC have been busy in market, bringing in new players in a bid to bolster their squad for the next campaign and have since signed James Begesa from UPDF FC, George Ssenkaba from Express FC and Ronald Andabati from newly promoted FUFA Big League Lugazi FC.
