Former Calvary FC Midfielder A Free Agent After Leaving Newly Promoted SUPL Side Blacks Power
A former Calvary Football Club midfieder Muhammed Hassan aka Mbappe is a free agent after partying ways with newly promoted StarTimes Uganda Premier League entity Blacks Power Football Club.
Hassan Muhammed has terminated his contract with Blacks Power FC ahead of their maiden season in the top-tier league. The contract was set to expire in July 2023.
At this stage, it’s unclear as to what led to the exit of the former Masavu FC midfieder.
The stylish midfieder took to his official Facebook account to announce his departure on Sunday 3/07/2022.
“I wish there was a better way to say this. But I’ll just keep it as simple as it can be. The club and I have had a mutual agreement to part ways. I wish it would have been different but sometimes life happens,” Muhammed Hassan posted in his Facebook account.
In the same statement, Muhammed Hassan also lauded the club, the entire fans and the fantastic fans.
“I want to take this time to say goodbye and thank the club, the entire staff and the fantastic supporters of Blacks Power FC. Thank you for the support and affection you have given me in such a small period of time it was a honor and pleasure being a part of the Blacks Power’s family AA. I wish you all the best and Luck in the rest of the season.untill then keep safe, and we shall meet again,” He added.
Hassan had joined Blacks Power Football Club on a two-year employment contract in July 2021 following some impressive performances for WestNile based FUFA Big League entity and Masavu FC.
The midfieder leaves Blacks Power Football Club after guiding them to 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.
Atlabara Football Club are the latest team to express their interest to sign the midfieder and he may be lucky to play in the South Sudan Football Championship if the deal materializes.
