Vipers SC Beat Arua Hill To Signing Uganda Cranes Midfielder
Uganda Premier League champions Vipers Sports Club have reportedly secured the services of Uganda Cranes and Bright Stars midfielder Marvin Joseph Youngman ahead of the coming 2021/2022 season.
Youngman was touted to depart Bright Stars and join Charles Livingstone’s Arua Hill SC as the Kongolo Boys were hot favourites to secure the signature of the midfielder.
However, Youngman has decided to join the Venoms instead of the Leopards as his next destination penning a two-year employment deal.
Consequently, Vipers SC have beaten Arua Hill SC to the signature of the star who is seen as the perfect replacement for Bobosi Byaruhanga as he is set to leave vipers after landing a lucrative deal with a club in the United States of America.
Youngman caught the eye of several Uganda Premier League clubs last campaign following a steller season with Bright Stars which saw him earn a call up to the National team, the Uganda Cranes as he was handed his first competitive start for the Uganda Cranes against Algeria in the AFCON qualifiers played at the July 5 1962 Stadium.
