
DONE DEAL: BUL FC Confirm First Arrival
Stanbic Uganda Cup Champions BUL Football Club have officially welcomed the arrival of workaholic forward Frank Kalanda ahead of the coming 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.
The burly forward is joining on a free transfer following the expiry of his employment contract at Police FC.
Kalanda has put pen to paper on a two-year renewable contract that will keep him at Kyabazinga Stadium until 2024 with further options to renew his contract.
Eastern Gaints BUL FC confirmed the news in a statement which reads:
“Workaholic forward – Frank Kalanda is now an Eastern Giant. He signed a two – year renewable contract to play for the club through to at least June 2024.
“Kalanda shone to fame for his brace against Tanzania in a 3-1 win as Uganda Cranes qualified for CHAN 2014 in South Africa.

Speaking during his unvieling Kalanda said: “Being part of the biggest clubs in Busoga and Uganda at large is exciting.”
“I am so thankful for this opportunity given by the club and the coach – Alex Isabirye; and I am willing to work with the entire technical team, management, teammates, and fans altogether.”
“Putting up good performances is all I target in my quest to score lots of goals that will help the team achieve more success,” he concluded.
Kalanda turns into membership the first signing for BUL FC ahead of the coming continental and StarTimes Uganda Premier League show-pieces.
He has previously featured for Express (two stints), URA, Tooro United, Police, as well as AS Kigali of Rwanda.
