Arua Hill SC Table An Offer For Police FC Defender
WestNile based Startimes Uganda Premier League entite Arua Hill Sports Club have reportedly stepped-up their pursuit for defender Hassan Mahmood ahead of the coming season.
The Leopards are working on a deal which will see Hassan Mahmood join the club from relegated Uganda Police FC once it is finalised.
SK13 Sports has reported that Arua Hill SC have joined the race to sign the defender as a free agent after he will run down his employment contract with the Cops at the beginning of next month.
However The media in Kampala reported that Kongolo Boys will have to face stiff competitions from fellow UPL sides Gaddafi FC, Wakiso Gaints FC and Sports Club Villa who have all shown interest in signing the defender.
Hassan only played five games for Police FC last season due to injury as his side got relegated to the FUFA Big League tournament.
The defender has previously featured for Sports Club Villa, Onduparaka Football Club and Express Football Club.
He was part of the Uganda Cranes team for the 2021 Total African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament in Cameroon.
