
WESTNILE REGIONAL LEAGUE: Alpha Raising Stars Relegated From Regional League As Nebbi Central & Adjumani TC Extend Leads At The Top Of Nyagak & Nile Zone Tables Respectively
Nebbi Central and Adjumani Town Council FC extended their leads at the top of Nyagak and Nile zone tables respectively after recording wins during their various weekend fixtures while Alpha Raising Stars were officially relegated from the Regional League following their humiliations to Pakwach Super Eagles in the weekend fixtures of the WestNile Regional League.
Saturday, 30 April Nebbi CFC 2-0 Arua SA

Nebbi Central FC extended their lead at the top of the Nyagak Zone log standings to 3 points after beating relegation strugglers Arua Soccer Academy 2-0 at Luo Stadium on Saturday evening.
The result means Nebbi Central FC remained at the top of the log with 39 points from 16 games while Arua Soccer Academy are rooted in the 2nd place from the bottom of the log with 13 points from 17 games.
Both teams are back in action on Tuesday 3rd May as Nebbi Central visit Kati United at Kati P/s Play Ground while Arua Soccer Academy host Packwach Super Eagles at St Leo play grounds.
Arua City FC 0-0 Paidha Black Angels:

Elsewhere Arua City FC and Paidha Black Angels shared spoils after playing to a goalless draw at Ababet GreenLight Stadium.
The draw means Arua City FC remained in the 4th place of the Nyagak Zone log standings with 32 points after 17 games while Paidha Black Angels are in the 2nd place with 36 points from 15 games.
Paidha Black Angels are back in action on Tuesday, 3 May as they challenge Hotsprings FC at Nebbi P/S ground while Arua City FC visit Pakwach Young Stars at St Omach play grounds the next day in their next encounter.
Riverview FC 1-3 Koboko Raising Stars:

In the Nile Zone Koboko Raising Stars recorded their 6th win of the season as they defeated relegation threatened Riverview FC 3-1 at Riverside Stadium.
Victory means Koboko Raising Stars remained in the 3rd place of the log with 23 points from 14 games while Riverview are in the 4th place from the bottom of Nyagak Zone table with 14 points from 14 games.
Sunday, 1 May 2022 Adjumani 5-0 Young Tiger

In the Nile Zone Adjumani Town Council Football Club extended their lead at the top of the summit after thrashing relagation threatened Young Tigers 5-0 at Paridi Stadium on Sunday evening.
Victory means Adjumani Town Council remained at the top of the log with 32 points from 14 games while Young Tiger Stars are dwelling in the 2nd place from the bottom of Nile Zone with 9 points from 13 games.
Both teams are back in action when Adjumani TC visit 2nd placed Araka FC at TBC grounds on Wednesday, 4 May while Young Tiger Stars host Barakala FC a day before at TBC grounds.
Packwach SE 10 -0 Alpha Raising Stars:

Lastly Alpha Raising Stars were officially relegated to the fourth division league with four games left to spare in the WestNile Regional League tournament following a 10-0 humiliation to Packwach Super Eagles at Kopio Grounds in Packwach.
Victory means Packwach SE remained in the 5th place of the log with 31 points from 16 games and back in action on Tuesday, 3 May away to Arua Soccer Academy at St Leo play grounds.
Meanwhile relegated Alpha Raising Stars are dwelling at the bottom of the Nyagak Zone table with zero point from 17 games and are back in action on Wednesday, 4 May as they host Alangi Super Mix at PTC play grounds.
