
SUPL MD28 WRAP: KCCA Ease Past Busoga United, Strugglers Police Beat Wakiso Gaints To Boost Survival Hopes
There were wins for KCCA FC, Express FC, URA FC and Police FC during their various StarTimes Uganda Premier League Matchday28 encounters played on Saturday evening.
Wakiso Gaints FC 1-3 Police FC:

Uganda Police Football Club moved to within a point of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League safety zone after returning to their winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Wakiso Gaints FC at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium
Frank Kalanda aka Machette scored a first-half hat-trick as the Cops boosted their bid for league survival with their sixth win of the season. Aliro had opened the lead for the Purple Sharks but that was not enough as they suffered their 14th defeat of the season.
Victory sees Police remain in the 3rd place from the bottom of the log with 28 points from 28 games.Meanwhile Wakiso Gaints are in the 7th place with 36 points from 28 games
Both teams are back in action on Saturday, 14 May as they host BUL FC at Phillip Omondi Stadium while Wakiso Gaints challenge Champions Vipers SC at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
KCCA FC 2-1 Busoga United:

KCCA FC piled more misery on relagation threatened Busoga United FC after beating them 2-1 at Phillip Omondi Stadium.
A first half own goal from Busoga’s Bithum canceled out Shaka Ssozi’s opener for the visitors and substitute Eris Ssekisambu scored the winner to hand KCCA FC their 15th win of the season.
The result means KCCA FC remain in the second place with 56 points from 28 games while Busoga United are in the 4th place from the bottom of the log with 29 points from 28 matches
Both teams are back in action on Saturday, 14 May as KCCA FC visit Gaddafi FC at Gaddafi Barracks meanwhile Busoga United challenge URA FC at Area of Visions.
URA FC 3-1 Bright Stars FC:

A first-half brace from Shafik Kagimu and a goal from Abang Crowmwell Rwothomio saw URA FC defeated Bright Stars FC 3-1 at Arena of Visions in Ndejje.
Joseph Janjali scored a consolation goal for Bright Stars FC who were condemned to their 12 defeat of the season.
Victory means the Tax Collectors leapfrogged Arua Hill SC in the 3rd place of the log with 52 points from 28 games while Bright Stars FC are in the 12th place of the log with 30 points from 28 matches.
Both teams are back in action on Saturday, 14 May when URA FC host Busoga United while Bright Stars FC travel to Arua City to challenge Onduparaka FC at Ababet GreenLight Stadium.
Express FC 2-1 BUL FC:

Elsewhere an own goal from George Kasonko and a goal from Martin Kizza saw Express FC return to their winning ways after stunning BUL FC 2-1 at Betway Mutessa II Wankulukuku Stadium.
Simon Peter Oketch scored a consolation goal for BUL FC who suffered their 6th defeat of the campaign.
Victory means the Red Eagles remain in the 6th place of the log with 45 points just a point below BUL FC who are in the 5th place of the log with 46 points from 28 games.
The two teams are back in action on Saturday, 14 May when Express FC host UPDF FC at Wankulukuku Stadium while BUL FC visit Police FC at Phillip Omondi Stadium.
SC Villa 0-0 Vipers SC:
Lastly, Sports Club Villa and champions Vipers Sports Club shared spoils after playing to a goalless draw at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru
The draw means the Jogoos remain in the 11th place with 30 points from 28 games while Vipers SC sit at the top of the log with 68 points from 28 matches.
Both teams are back in action next weekend when SC Villa host Arua Hill SC at FUFA Technical Center on Friday, 13 May while Vipers visit Wakiso Gaints at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium the next day.
