Shaban Bags Another Award As Robertinho Wins Coach Of The Month Gong For April
WestNile Jumbos Onduparaka Football have once again been represented on the awards podium after their talisman Muhammad Shaban bagged another award.
Having won the Fortebet Real Stars Monthly award for the month of April, the Caterpillars forward Muhammad Shaban has been confirmed as the recipient of the Pilsner player of the month award for the month of April.
Meanwhile Vipers Sports Club head coach Robertinho Oliviera has also been rewarded as the best Pilsner Coach Of month award for April.
The award ceremony was held at Kati Kati Restaurant on Thursday evening.
The StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) took to their various social media sites to announce the two winners as they were awarded with Shs1M and a plaque each courtesy of main sponsors Pilsner lager.
Shaban scored six goals from 4 games during the month of April to help lift the Caterpillars out of the danger zone, He defeated the leading top scorer Ceasor Manzoki of Vipers SC and KCCA FC forward Sadat Anaku.
While Robertinho Oliviera who grabbed 15 points from 15 up for grabs during the month of April defeated Onduparaka FC acting head coach Dudu Bosco and Soltilo Bright Stars FC head coach Paul Kiwanuka.
