
Kawawa Bags Brace As Arua Hill SC Cruise Past Rivals Onduparaka FC To Win WestNile Derby Bragging Rights
Arua Hill Sports Club won West Nile derby bragging rights after beating rivals Onduparaka Football Club 3-0 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter played at Ababet GreenLight Stadium in Arua on Friday evening.
Teenager Rashid Kawawa “Olu” was the Star after bagging a brace while Innocent Maduka added the third as Leopards cruise past the Caterpillars for their 13th win of the season.
Rashid Kawawa Olu broke the deadlock for the visitors after tapping home Alfred Leku’s delivery for a 1-0 lead at the interval.

After the break substitute Innocent Maduka doubled the lead for the Leopards as he headed home a rebound from Caterpillars custodian Mathias Muwanga for a 2-0 in the 60 minutes.
Moments later Onduparaka FC were reduced to a man down after John Rogers recieved his marching orders for a second bookable offense on Alfred Leku.
Kawawa then completed his own brace and the third for the visitors after striking past Mathias Muwanga for a 3-0 in the 77 minutes.
The game was halted in the 85 minutes when Police started firing tear gas to stop Onduparaka FC fans who were pelting stones and bottles into the pitch.
Victory temporarily lifts Arua Hill SC to the 3rd place of the log with 49 points from 28 games while Onduparaka FC remain in the 8th place of the log with 34 points from 28 games.
Both teams are back in action next week when Onduparaka FC host Bright Stars FC at Ababet GreenLight Stadium on Saturday 14/05/2022 while Arua Hill SC challenge SC Villa at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru on Friday 13/05/2022.
