In-Form Onduparaka FC Forward Bags Real Stars Monthly Award

Muhammad Shaban aka Ijagason has been voted the Fortebet Real Stars Sports Player-of-the-Month for April following his outstanding performance for the WestNile Gaints Onduparaka Football Club.

The Caterpillars had slow start to the 2021/22 StarTimes Uganda Premier League first round losing 8 games at the start of March before bouncing back with six consucative wins.

Dudu Bosco’s guns hammerd URA FC 2-1, they defeated Mbarara City 1-0, 2-1 vs Wakiso Gaints, the Caterpillars also crushed Police FC 4-1 and were winners against SC Villa and Express as they defeated them 1-0 and 2-0 respectively before dropping points after playing to a goalless draw against BUL FC as they concluded the month of April in the 8th place with 34 points

Muhammad Shaban, who has played in integral part walked away with the Fortebet Real Stars Sports best player of the month award for April where he struck six goals as Onduparaka won three of their four games last month to move out of the drop zone.

The talisman defeated Vipers duo of skipper Halid Lwaliwa and striker Ceasar Manzoki for the best footballer of the month.

The monthly award ceremony was held on Tuesday morning at Route256 in Lugogo sponsored by Fortebet and Jude Colour Solutions.
