‘We Are Taking Every Game As A Final Regardless Of The Opponent’- Onduparaka FC TD Dudu Bosco Reacts Ahead Of Tommorow ‘s Clash Against Police FC
Onduparaka FC technical director Dudu Bosco has issued a statement as his team prepares for a crunch StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter against Police Football Club on Friday afternoon.
The match is scheduled to be played on Friday April 8 2022 at Phillip Omondi Stadium in Kampala
Speaking in a pre-match press conference, Caterpillars technical director Dudu Bosco said they will be playing for their lives and will treat ‘every game as a final regardless of the opponent’
“We are taking every game as a final regardless of the opponent, so tommorow we’re playing for oure lives,” Dudu told club media
“If you look at Police FC they play almost the same style like us, the open up they are one of the very few teams in Uganda that play total football and that to me is very good because a team that plays football opens up and it creates opportunities to both sides.”
“I don’t like playing against teams which are very rigid in defense, a team that will play with defense mentality but I like teams that plays flowing football and Police does that which is very good and it’s going to give us alot of opportunity, alot of space to penetrate.” he added
“So all in all in the first round we beat Police 1-0 and it will be very important to us to pick six points,”
“We made a commitment of getting 30 points from the last 10 games we already got six, we are still aiming at accumulating more points from the remaining eight games. Good enough we have the same point with Police but one important thing is that we still have a game at hand though against Vipers.”
The two teams are seperated on goal difference with the Caterpillars sitting in the 13th place of the log with 24 points tied to Police FC who are in the 12th position in the tournament’s log chart.
