Gaddafi Snatch A Point From Arua Hill As Buchochera Strikes At The Death
Arua Hill Sports Club were denied a return to their winning ways as they settled to a 1-1 draw against Gaddafi FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League Matchday24 encounter played at Barifa Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Kongolo Boys had played two draws from their last three games including a goalles draw against URA FC the last time out and they were caught cold in front of the home crowds when Buchochera Jamaldine snatched a point for the Soldier Boys in the 92 minutes to cancel out Bright Vuni’s opener in the first-half.
The game started on low note but the hosts threatened first when Atendele Geriga’s shot from the left flank was well punched for a corner-kick in the 19th minute.
Alfred Leku should have done better after meeting a rebound from Toha Rashid’s header but his effort went wide.
The hosts who dominated the first-half grabbed the lead in the 36 minutes when Bright Vuni headed home Gadafi Wahab’s corner kick delivery.

The score was 1-0 in favor of Arua Hill Sports Club.
Five minutes from the break the hosts could have gone ahead but Ibrahim Tembo’s effort from close range went wide.
The Soldier Boys first chance of the game came into the second half when Bakali Mugunda’s goal was ruled out for an offside in the 62nd minute.
Moments later Kawawa Rashid also saw his goal ruled out for an offside before Farouk Musisi’s effort went wide in the 73 minutes.

With Arua Hill SC doubtless wondering if they were about to weather the storm, Buchochera Jamaldine stepped up and leveled matters for Gaddafi FC in the 90+2 minutes as both sides settled for a 1-1 draw.
The draw means Arua Hill SC remained in the 5th place of the log with 39 points from 24 games while Gaddafi FC are in the 8th place of the log with 28 points from 24 games
