
DONE DEAL: South Sudanase Forward Officially Joins Iranian outfit Paykan SC
South Sundanase international forward Tito Okello has officially completed a move to Iranian outfit Paykan Tahran Sports Club.
The 26-year-old player has penned an 18-month deal that will keep at Paykan Tahran until October 2023.
Tito Okello initially joined Shahr Khodro from Kenyan outfit Gor Mahia in February but his deal was terminated after the club was sanctioned from signing international players.
He made his debut for South Sudan on October 10, 2020, against Cameroon.
Okello released the following statements on his Official twitter account confirming his new club: “Not secret anymore. Paykan Sports Club is my new home 🇮🇷 .”
The striker has previously played for KCCA FC, SC Villa, BUL FC, Vipers SC and most recently for For Gor Mahia FC in Kenya.
Paykan, headed by Mojtaba Hosseini, will play Persepolis on May 4 in the Matchweek 25 of the Iran Professional League.
The Carmakers are currently sitting in the 7th place of the Iran Pro League log with 33 points from 24 games.
